Wow did Tennis need this.  After years and years of dominating figures such as Roger Federer and Pete Sampress it took an epic first round match between unknowns John Isner and Nicolas Maut to remind us of the true drama, and yes total absurdity, that makes tennis the great sport that it is.  70 - 68 in the fifth.  This will always be remembered as the greatest match ever and it was in the first round and involved no superstars or even names that most fans would have previously noticed.  How great is that.
