Just when you think the airline industry can’t sink any lower a story like this appears.  I mean you couldn’t make this stuff up.

Last year we had the story about the two Northwest pilots overshooting their destination by more than a hundred miles because they were distracted.  Strange as that one sounded I think this story tops it.

How in the world can an air traffic control officer let his child give instructions to pilots?  Pretty funny, huh?  Unless you’re one of the passengers or happen to be anywhere near those planes, either in the air or on the ground.
